"End of Love" Cabaret Is a Must-See

The Schools of Performing Arts, The Acting Academy and Phare Ponleu Selpak are pleased to inaugurate our first collaboration together in a performance titled "The End of Love (Cabaret)" that will be held at Bar Menaka, located on Diamond Island on March 3 at 18h and 20h30.

The “End of Love (Cabaret)” will take you into a world of unprecedented spectacle in Cambodia. The multidisciplinary aspect of the performance englobes singing, dancing, acting, and of course circus. Each scene will bring every taste of emotion for the audience.

Before taking to the stage on March 3, the actors of "End of Love" went through a rigorous and challenging process, one of which represents an opportunity to exchange experiences in the different domains of the arts.

According to Mr. K.B. Saadi, co-founder of The Acting Academy and director of the live performance: "We rely on the immediate creativity of the actors and the contemporary works of international writers to design this performance." He adds, “For the audience, this new experience will be an opportunity to be surprised, to never know what to expect. And to see how exchanges between these different arts make their expression more powerful.”

“End of Love (Cabaret) is a perfect example of this kind of partnership in action,” said Osman Khawaja, Executive Director of Phare Ponleu Selpak. “Our students could learn and have a creative role in this new cabaret-style show. A cabaret-style dining theatre experience is unique in Cambodia, and this performance is pushing the boundaries for new ways of enjoying arts and culture, in a country that still has a long way to go in building a sustainable audience for performing arts,” he continued.

Therefore, The Acting Academy and Phare Ponleu Selpak, would like to invite you to join the experience of this performance. Your participation values and encourages the actors, and those who help bring life to the performance. It will also be very important to support The Acting Academy and Phare Ponleu Selpak, a non-profit art and circus and performing arts school, to continue the life of its mission.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and supporters, including Bar Menaka, Analog Asia Marketing Agency, Legend & Legend Premium Cinema, Mr. Renting Cambodia, Seekers Spirits, and InkInc. for their help, support, and involvement.
